A mobile robot rated at 60V is primarily powered by a 48V battery bank. When the mobile robot demands a large amount of power within a short period of time, energy is transferred from a 36V ultracapacitor(an energy storage device). This provides for the sudden burst. Later, when the demand falls off, energy in the ultracapacitor is replenished from the battery.Develop an architecture withappropriate power converter topologies, incorporating ideal switches to describe the interconnection of the robot with the battery and ultracapacitor. Populate the ideal switch(es) with IGBTs and diodes.
