For implementing an effective organizational culture and also to avoid legal obligations the employers generally formulates policies and procedures which irradicates the unethical practices like discrimination, sexual assault, etc. The employees are insisted to follow this policies and procedures inorder to establish an effective workplace.
In the given scenario the employee has passed a comment publically which highlight racism. This practice is considered to be unethical and the employees will be subjected to disciplinary action if exhibits such practices. Here the employee mentioned does not have the potential enough t understand such policies and procedures. Under such circumstances the employee can take actions to educate the employee about the policies ad procedures and the consequences he will have to face if performed in future. After the awareness program if again he commits the same mistakes, necessary actions can be taken.
