From these plots slopes of tangents at t0 can be determined for all the plots.

2) From the slopes of tangents we can determined the intial rates.

From the intial rates we can determine the order of the reaction with respect to each component. For example concentration of B is kept constant and concentration of A is changed then change in reaction rate only because of A, from this order of reaction with respect to A can be determined. Similarly order of reaction with respect to B can also determined.

3) let us assume order reaction with respect to A is m and order of reaction with respect to B is n. Then overall order of reaction is (m+n ).

4) from the above information general rate law can be written as, rate = k A^m B^n.

Using rate law equation by the substitution of initial rate and concentration of A and B rate constant can be determined.

k = rate / ( A^m B^n)
