Difference between LAN and WAN:
– LAN is priveate network consist of the few devised connected with one network with small range in the premises. LAN is helpful in small organization since work is limited and so does connectivity while WAN is large number of LAN connected for a organization which have different locations around the world, you can not connection WAN consists multiple LAN at different location in different places.
– LAN has the higher bandwith rates compared to WAN which have lower bandwidth rates, LAN have bandwith of 100 mbps to 1 gbps and 10 gbps while WAN have relatively smaller bandwidth of 4 mbps to 8, 20, 50, 100 mbps.
