The objective is to focus on making the process smooth, and ensure long term relationship with the outgoing personnels. First thing is we will need to assess if there will be more lay offs in the recent future, so that a structured exit plan can be built for those people. For these 12 workers, we will need to identify if these people can be accommodated in the organization elsewhere, even with some skill development, if required. However, if the same cannot be done, we will need to discuss with the Union, so that the process can be smooth for the 12 workers, and doesn’t send a bad signal to the rest of the workforce.
