The video Dumb Ways to Die is extremely appealing short video of carefully selected duration of only 3 minutes, ensuring it does not become boring or dragging.
The characters chosen, their bodies, pastel colors, their actions, background music, song and the whole act all of them simple and all of them fuse together to bring out the effect of the message only.
After viewing the video, one remembers only the message and how effectively it has been brought out. One does not remember any particular character, color or sequence, but the message.
The best part is the message is so well and subtly conveyed that the viewer is not discussing only the dumb topics covered in the video, but wanders what all dumb thing he or she or others around him or her do.
It also motivates to stop and prevent people from doing the dumb things which can cause accidents, harm them and others.
My evaluation is this video is an innovative, imaginative and very successful way to help spread the message of making oneself and others safe. It has succeeded also in its attempt and purpose.
